I’m Sam the Shiba Inu.
This page is dedicated to all Shiba Inu lovers, Shibaholics, and anyone who appreciates a cat-like, fox-like furball with a big personality. As a good Shiba, I’m all about food, snoozing, and playing with my humans. I can sit, shake, high five, and even say “I love you.” My original name is Sutamuroku Xtra Nice Lil’ Tops, but who can remember that?!
My mom is a big fan of Samuel L. Jackson, and my dad loves Samwise Gamgee from The Lord of the Rings, so they decided to name me Sam. I like it—it’s short, simple, and just like me!
My Story
You've probably heard that Shiba Inu puppies are some of the cutest puppies in the world—and it’s true! Not to brag, but even at just 3 days old, I was already a little heart-breaker. That’s how I ended up with the most wonderful mom and dad I could have asked for. My siblings and I were born in October 2015. Obby and Zoey were bigger, while I was the runt of the litter. I was so small and thin that my ears weren’t even floppy—they were smaller than usual and always pointing up.
